The days of using pins are long gone thanks to the invention of the NAPPI NIPPA. This is an excellent little plastic gripper that catches the loops of terry without piercing the fabric. These are safer and easier to use than pins. To put them on, you simply hold the nappy together and hook one of the horizontal grippers into the terry, gently pull the opposite gripper over and hook, then pull the vertical gripper down and hook. The attached nippa should form a small y shape as shown in the instructions.
